This location is fast, efficient and connected to a Jiffy Lube. It is currently offering a free carwash with Jiffy Lube service.

The staff has always been friendly and helpful.

Microfiber cloths are available for a small fee. They also have dash wipes available. I've always been able to find vacuum/drying areas open. There is a 5 min limit that helps. I try to go during slow periods so it's not crowded.

I was not impressed. I purchased a silver package. Then went to vacuum my car and saw that my car was not cleaned at all. I do not know if the solutions they used is diluted down or the brush mechanism does not scrub the car well. I could still see the dirt on the car. Either way I ended up cleaning the car there with old towels I had. I saw others doing the same too. I won’t go back.

First timer, I tried the basic wash for $8. No luck, my car was dirty after it. It seems that the bad reviews I read were true. When I ran my finger on the roof and trunk lid my finger was pretty dirty. I went to the manager and showed him. He gave me a free pass for another wash, this time silver, but told me that if I wanted my car clean I needed to get silver or platinum??!! As much as I appreciated him giving me another wash, this logic is absurd. Your cheapest wash needs to get the job done. Everything else should add extras. Anyway, the result from the silver wash was the same - my hood and trunk lid were still dirty. Also the vacuum in my cell was very weak, I had to use the one next to me. Very poor quality of everything. I will not come here again and waste my time.

I received a mass text on Christmas Eve announcing that the Irvine location was open on Christmas Day from 8AM-4PM (see my screenshots). The location was clearly closed with an orange cone blocking the car wash entrance when I arrived at 8:30AM on Christmas Day.

I called them twice at 8:32AM and 9:41AM and no one picked up indicating that they were closed.

False advertising, or miscommunication from the on-site staff? Management, if you're reading this, please reach out to me. Thank you.

Great wash. I like that I can drive thru with my roof-racks. The vacuum system is wonderful. GREAT PLACE at a great price. Only issue - people who do not get their car washed are driving up to the cleaning bays, hogging them so that paid customers can't clean their cars after a wash. Need some kind of access control. Even just cones and better signage will help.

I’ve used the car wash in the past. It is very conveniently connected to a shell. I used to love the self serve area that allows you to dry the car and vacuum. Unfortunately many of the vacuum hoses are breaking and not being well maintained.

I just went thru this car wash and I’ve been coming here for years. The guy at the beginning used a wrench to get my antenna off and scratched my car! My antenna comes off with your hand.

Fantastic place. Needed an ASAP vacuum for my truck. While on our road trip I found ants in my truck but had a hard time finding a place willing to just a vacuum for my truck as our toddler is scared of using them otherwise. They definitely went above and beyond to accommodate us quickly.

This place is great because of their fair price for car wash, speed (pretty much just going through their automated car wash system), and also sufficient number of post-wash self-service cleanup stations (vacuum, pressured air gun, clean towels, trash bin). Kids will love to go through the car wash machine just like other car wash especially rainbow soap:-)

Miguel, Modesto, and Fabian did a great job detailing my car. I was rushing and they understood and worked so quickly. While I was waiting I noticed some bad attitude customers who had no reason to complain but felt the need to make others feel badly. The bad reviews should be taken with a grain of compassion and this was my first time here I’m glad I gave them a chance.
Four stars because they missed a few areas but were able to take care of it once pointed out.

100% hand car wash is the only way to go, prevents swirl marks on nice paint. They do good work and don't rush. One of the best car washes around.

This is the 2nd time I've been here now, as I live close and its convenient. The 1st time wasn't too bad, nothing spectacular for the price. But the next time, was not great at all. Definitely over paid for the job they do. It seemed as if they just wanted to get my car out as soon as they could with little effort at getting the dirt and grime out.... The important details were left out. The hand rests, the plastic at the edge of the door, the roof of the car wasn't cleaned as it should have been, the dash wasn't properly cleaned. And for $27.99 plus tip! I'm taking my money and my vehicle elsewhere.....

Best hand car wash in Irvine. They consistently do a great job on both the exterior and interior of my car and always finish on time. Ruben is super friendly and is readily available to provide suggestions on how to improve the quality and shine of your paint.

I have been here twice. The worker upsell, a lot. I kept saying "no thank you" and opted for a Basic Wash. The first time I took my husband's Tesla 3 is cost $25.99. I was happy with the service. Today I took our Tesla Y. They charged $2 extra for an SUV. After the wash, it looked like I went through the self carwash. I asked them to please fix it, they said this is the best they could do. Photos attached. They said the windshield has water spots and that would cost more money and a special product. They would not fix it.

The place is perfect example of no quality of work done in any aspect. The people working there are immune to these feedback starting from the manager himself (Mr. Jose) who would say that the car was brought in bad and thus it is bad even after the expensive car wash.

I have been going here for past 1 year for car wash but lately since start of 2023 April-may The owners of this outlet are not even worried of the business it seems as the employees working here are too arrogant in response to the customer the work quality has degraded drastically. I won’t say it’s the employees fault as the store manager is himself is too arrogant his recommendation for me was ok if you have been bring the car bere for so long. Don’t bring you car for wash here any more we are ok.

When you go in for a wash they will try and sell the waxing services which is horrible in itself.

I feel giving 1 star is too much

This place falls short of being a proper car wash. It feels more like they just put some water on your car and dried it, rather than giving it a thorough cleaning. If you're looking for a genuine car wash experience, I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

I also noticed that they stop the cars on "P" instead of "N" and use the e-brake, which is known to be bad for the transmission. This kind of practice raises doubts about their attention to proper car care, and it's something car owners should be aware of before considering their services.

Having to pay extra for a basic service like tire shining seems unreasonable. It's disappointing that they add an additional cost for something that should be included in a standard car wash package. This kind of pricing approach feels excessive and is definitely off-putting for customers.

I doubt they even take these feedbacks into consideration

The place has really nice personnel. The car wash itself was great, and my car looked great after plus they give free towels that you can use to clean the car yourself. They also offer free coffee which was also very nice. Good place for a quick car wash.

Very sad. This place used to be awesome, with a great crew that was always smiling, friendly and consistently did an amazing job. Was the perfect mix of convenience, quality and speed. But now it’s all automated. The prices are cheaper but then you have to do all the work. It’s sad to see all this automation, I genuinely enjoyed coming to this place and sitting down with a book while the crew worked on the car. Now all you have are machines and some towels. Sad, sad, sad

I received wonderful service from Professional Detail Service LLC. Marcus is the epitome of excellence. He was friendly and provided personal attention to my situation. I am a handicapped senior lady. The dumpster at my apt bldg is quite a ways a way and I'm unable to walk that far. So when I have a bag of trash I place it in my trunk and wait until I have another before I drive to the dumpster. Because it's difficult for me, I want to make as few trips as possible. But after 4 yrs of doing this, somehow mice entered my trunk, shredded the Hefty bag and strew trash all over. It was awful! Marcus drove my car to the dumpster and emptied the trunk for me. He then proceeded to clean and shine my 13 yr old Toyota until it was shining like new. He went above and beyond the call of service!! I will return for service again in the future...hopefully not because of little visitors in my trunk, but because I know the results will be fabulous. Do not hesitate to entrust your vehicle to Marcus and Professional Detail Service.

Marcus did an amazing job detailing my vehicle. From start to finish, he was incredibly professional, friendly, and responsive. He responded quickly to my inquiry and was able to fit me in only a day later. He offers to drop you off and pick you up from home so you don't need to worry about transportation while your vehicle is being cleaned. We talked through exactly what I was hoping to have detailed and he addressed everything I wanted, and MORE. My car looks great. Will definitely be a returning customer!

The pipes above my parking spot in my apartment leaked a chemical onto my car paint in multiple spots and it wasn't coming off no matter what I tried: vinegar, alcohol, soap.... So I messaged OCD Detailing for a quote and Marco hit me back within the same day with a great price. I dropped the car off and he even provided me with an Uber to go back home while he worked on it. Also sent me text updates and ETA's. He finished quickly in a few hours. When I came back to pick it up, my car was the cleanest I've seen it in the past few years, inside and out. Marco even went out of his way to do some paint correction on the hood and wing. 11/10 I'd recommend to anyone. Thanks Marco

Marco the owner of OCD detailing was friendly, clean, and a pleasure to talk to. I was in need of a ceramic coat to protect my matte grey 2022 ioniq 5. Matte paint is a bit special so Marco made sure to buy the specific ceramic coating product that would be best. Marco showed up on time, did a through wash, and applied the coating in a protected environment. Marco then ran me through how to care for the car for the first 24hrs and beyond. Marco wi be coming back to perform a follow up wash and double check his work at a later time. OCD prices are also reasonable and no doubt worth the cost to protect your investment. I am super pleased and would come back anytime!

I tried my best to do all of my research in the surrounding area to find a great detail shop to take care of my car as well as some overspray I picked up. Several surrounding detail shops just charge you up the wazoo and expect you to pay it as if there was no other way. Excess Look does an amazing job of listening to you and determining the best treatment to achieve exactly what you are looking for. Jennica is THE BEST! She literally took care of everything from the moment I pulled up to when I picked up my keys afterwards. She went above and beyond to ensure that my car was taken care of. You can just tell that she, and everyone they work with, take pride in what they do and it shows. I will be returning every time I need specific work done and I have been recommending Excess Look to everyone I can.
The shop is located in the parking structure which can slightly confusing but just park anywhere and go walk right in. Everyone is super nice and welcoming. Also, it always looks like the OC Car Show down there with all of the cars they work on. These guys have seen it all and taken care of every kind of vehicle. You can trust them.

Let me start off my saying WOW! Chris and the team at Excess Look went above and beyond my expectations. Their attention to detail and communication was phenomenal. I had my tint done on my Tesla along with getting my car clay waxed. The team at Excess Look truly cares about the customer experience, it shows in their work. Chris, Steve and their team at excess look are the best in the biz.

Earlier this week I had a decent size scratch in the Driver side door of my brand new Tahoe. I hired someone to repair the scratch which only made matters worse, as you'll see in the pics below.

I then reached out to excess look, after I was referred by a Good Friend of mine. Chris assessed, took my car in right away and got to work. 3 hours later, good as new! I couldn't believe it. He also gave me a reasonable quote on deleting some of the chrome (ski rails, window pane trim, and bumper) which we went ahead and did. The job was done in one day and my Tahoe looks better than ever!

Be careful, there is an older gentleman working as cashier that looks at you and than decides what to charge..he does it on the shelf items and food..He does not scan item but enters it into register manually at
a higher price. This has happened to me more than once..He will take a 99 cent item and manually enter $1.59 etc. Depending on the item.
If Shell corporate has any questions, they can feel free to contact me. He might not do it on every customer or every item that is rang up , but it is happening.

This gas station looks really nice from afar but once you go in there it's not well kept. I filled up my tank and bought a car wash as well. Once I drove into the carwash, I was deeply disappointed. It's a very simple wash and its expensive compared to other nearby locations. My car was still dirty after and then all the vacuums had out of order signs. I recommend going elsewhere for your gas and car wash. Other places offer discounts on gas and/or wash with purchase of car wash.

Can't do zero stars. cashier Nancy has a really bad attitude. She couldn't even respectfully tell me that the car wash was not part of their business. And couldn't explain how the two are not linked. If you get gas you get $2 off but "it's not part of the business" this is ridiculous. And as I was trying to get answers another costumer was complaining as well.
